Another REALLY CUTE baby Gift. Thanks to Embroidery Library!!

I had to make a baby gift for an upcoming shower and decided to make this 30X30 mini quilt.  I wanted to do it with roses on it and went in search for some embroidery files to use.  I found a great design pack at Embroidery Library called "A Intricate Ink Rose"!!  It was perfect!!  So take a look at my photos and my video and stop by their site when you need to add that special touch to your project.  Enjoy.

This little dress is a Simplicity pattern (#2900)  that is a part of their Vintage Reprint of a 1952 collection.  Got it for $1 from Joann Fabrics last week!!  This is actually my first apparel piece that I have made in YEARS!!  This beautiful linen fabric came with the cute roses already embroidered on it which I got from Joann Fabrics as well.  I am thinking about making a matching bib to go with it.

Disappearing 9 Patch

I have been teaching myself how to quilt along with a friend of mine. This has been LOTS of fun so far. Here is my first shot at the disappearing 9 patch. I think this color combination is awesome. I can't wait to finish this one!!

For the man who carries a hankie

I did these for a man who carries a hankie.  I of course embroidered these using my new Baby Lock that I got for myself last year.  I so love this machine....It does everything (almost anyway).  I think that they turned out great!!  They are inexpensive hankie's that I got from Walmart and use Robison-Anton thread in a set of three (old gold, black and navy).  He really liked them.

My first purse project

This is a purse and bag set I plan to TRY to make after I finish my quilt. Or I may try to squeeze it in while I am working on the quilt. Check back soon for updates!!

Easter Invites

I have a wonderful new friend who asked me to do some Easter Invitations for her. She gave me full creative authority (she's seen some of my past work). I was so excited to create these for her and she loved them!! Heather here they come...hopping right to you :-)
